SMRA Rust Bust - 2026 - U10
Dear Strathmore Minor Ringette U10 Families,
Strathmore Minor Ringette Association is excited to once again offer RUST BUST sessions.
With the 2026/2027 season quickly approaching, it is time to try on those skates and make sure all the equipment fits! During the Rust Bust sessions athletes will practice basic skating skills, review game play skills, and be introduced to the concepts of the Universal Athlete Assessment (UAA). The intention is to support athletes in preparing for evaluations. Sessions are not mandatory to attend. Please confirm registration, so lead instructors can plan accordingly.
U10 Group 1 (DOB 2019, 2020, 2021) : Tuesday August 25, 2026 5:00 -6: 00 PM Strathmore Family Centre
U10 Group 2 (DOB 2017, 2018) : Tuesday August 25, 2026 6:00-7:00 PM Strathmore Family Centre
Additionally, SMRA will be hosting the Equipment Swap Sunday August 23, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM at the Strathmore Family Centre, during Come Try Ringette. Prepare your athlete for the upcoming season, and swap your gently used equipment! If you have items to add to the swap, or questions about the event please contact Equipment Director Evan Bridger equipment@strathmoreringette.com

2026 SMRA U10 RUST BUST PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION
To support the U10 SMRA RUST BUST sessions, volunteers are needed to assist with athlete check-in, and coaching, and on-ice assistants. Assisting with filling in these volunteer roles, in addition to supporting the success of the program, count to Strathmore Minor Ringette Association Volunteer Requirements. Your support is appreciated!
